The die-cast maisto adventure wheels F/A 18 hornet has many good points in its favour. Firstly. it is cheap. It costs less than six pounds in ASDA .secondly it s a very good representation of the actual aircraft. The replica looks good at a distance and up close.Thirdly i comes with a sturdy display stand on which it can be positioned for display. The replica stays in one piece even when the replica is displayed and takes a crash dive of the stand from the stand for whatever reason. Finally this is an offically licenced product. This is shown on the back of the packaging.
But does the maisto adventure wheels F/A 18 hornet have a few bad points against it? Well,.firstly ,the orange artwork for the package makes the replica easy to overlook on the shelves at first glance. It makes the plane look as though it was generic item that was intended for a price-point retailer such as poundshop/99p store instead of being an officially licenced product that might be of interest to diecast plane collectors.
Therefore in conclusion there are more good points in favour of the maisto adventure wheels F/A 18 hornet than there are,if any, bad points. This is a worthy addition to any diecast plane collection. And kudos to Walmart/ASDA ,Maisto and the original trademark owners for making this product available at a highly attractive and economical price point.
